1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using Punch Clock ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to the terms of the store you got it from: Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement for the App Store, or the Google Play Terms of Service for Google Play. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. The service
Punch Clock is a time clock for hourly work. It lets you:
- Record shifts by punching in and out, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android
- Apply pay rules such as overtime, unpaid breaks and rounding, and see your earnings
- Export timesheets as text, CSV, PDF or Excel
- Create invoices from tracked time
- Back up, export and import your data, and sync it through your own iCloud account on Apple devices (Pro)
3. Free and Pro
Punch Clock is free to use. Punch Clock Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($4.99), a yearly subscription ($29.99, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($49.99). Prices are in US dollars; the store shows the price for your country before you pay. A purchase belongs to the store account you made it with: a purchase on the App Store unlocks Pro on your Apple devices, and a purchase on Google Play unlocks Pro on your Android devices.
App Store (iPhone, iPad and Mac)
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone or iPad, or in the App Store → your name → Account Settings on Mac.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Google Play (Android)
- Payment is charged to the payment method in your Google account when you confirm the purchase. If you start the free trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Manage or cancel in the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in the app under Settings → Manage subscription.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. Within 48 hours of a purchase you may be able to request one from Google Play; after that, email us and we'll look at it.
4. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial time tracking, subject to these Terms and the usage rules of the store you got it from.
5. Your responsibilities
- Use the App in line with applicable laws
- Keep your time records accurate
- Keep your device and your Apple Account or Google account secure
- Don't reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the App
- Don't use the App for fraudulent or illegal purposes
6. Data and privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your time records are stored on your devices and, if you use them, in your own iCloud account, Android backup or Google Drive. You can export or delete your data at any time.
7. Pay, timesheet and invoice figures
Punch Clock calculates hours, overtime and pay from the rules you set. It is a record-keeping tool, not payroll, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for checking timesheets and invoices before you submit or send them, and for knowing the overtime and pay rules that apply to you. We are not responsible for errors, disputes or losses arising from figures produced with the App.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of it without our written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data or time records, loss of profits, or inaccuracies in timesheets, invoices or reports.
11. Third-party services
The App relies on Apple services such as iCloud and the App Store, on Google services such as Google Play and Android backup, and on RevenueCat to check purchases on Android. Your use of Apple and Google services is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their availability.
12. Changes
We may update the App, change or discontinue features, and update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
