By downloading, installing, or using Punch Clock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Punch Clock is a time tracking application that allows you to:

  • Track work sessions with punch in/out functionality
  • Organize time by projects
  • Generate invoices based on tracked time
  • Create shareable timecard images
  • View reports and statistics about your work
  • Sync data across devices via iCloud (optional)

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial time tracking purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Maintain the accuracy of your time tracking data
  • Keep your device and iCloud account secure
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
  • Not use the App for any fraudulent or illegal purposes

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. In summary:

  • • All data is stored locally on your device
  • • iCloud sync is optional and uses your personal iCloud account
  • • We do not collect, access, or share your time tracking data
  • • You can export or delete your data at any time

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or time tracking records
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Inaccuracies in invoices or reports
  • Any damages arising from your use of the App

9. Invoice Accuracy

While Punch Clock provides tools for generating invoices, you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all invoices before sending them to clients. We are not responsible for any errors, disputes, or issues arising from invoices generated using the App.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services such as Apple's iCloud. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

11. Updates and Changes

We may:

  • Update the App with new features, bug fixes, or improvements
  • Modify or discontinue features at our discretion
  • Update these Terms of Service at any time

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
